PCMS is looking for a Senior Sales Representative that is a highly self-motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and delivery high-quality results. Candidate must be capable of developing and executing sales strategies in a complex technical and political environment. Candidate will be experienced in handling all aspects of retail new business, identification of sales opportunities, coordination of pre-sales activities and the ability to develop winning strategic sales plans. Candidate must possess a proven track record in selling POS software solutions. Consultative market and product skills, knowledge of the retail industry, related organizations, technical direction, preferences and standard methods and procedures is required. Experience in IT consulting services business is a plus. This position will be based out of and assigned to an East Coast territory but will report to the Cincinnati, Ohio location.
Job Requirements:
• 3+ years experience of selling POS software solutions to retailers or food service chains.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Knowledge or experience of IT consulting services business
• Highly self-motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and delivery high-quality results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to overcome obstacles to achieving results.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Travel required, approximately 50%
• All candidates must have a legal right to work in the United States.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Meet and exceed yearly sales target/quota.
• Address and resolve customer satisfaction issues.
• Work collaboratively with other company personnel (sales and marketing team, business managers, consultants, administration).
• Attend sales meeting and other company meetings as required. Prepare sales forecasts, as required. Create weekly activity report summarizing previous week’s activity, or as required.
• Prepare sales order documentation in a timely manner, according to established sales process, which ensures the smooth flow of the sales order/invoicing process.
• Participate in trade shows.
• Follow the identified company policies and practices as outlined in the Company Practices Manual or other management directed practice.
