Description: |
| The Director of Application Development to be responsible for developing new applications supporting the agency's need for reporting and product development. In addition, the job will requires the individual to oversee teams of developers as needed (either internal or consultants). |
Duties: |
Responsibilities
Develop new applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications.
Create a company internet portal, allowing data manipulation for each internal staff member.
Conduct all user acceptances testing, and report results.
Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use.
Develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.
Develop external Web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.
Manage teams of developers.
Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn. |
Qualifications: |
| Bachelors in Computer Science or related field plus 10 years' experience in development, with a minimum of 3 years in management. Experience with current Microsoft technologies - NET, WPF, WebServices. Application support experience with SQL Databases, MS Office and mobile computing. Full Understanding of SDLC. |
